We carry out a full site survey to assess your site’s roof space, orientation, shading and structural stability to determine this. The more energy your business consumes during daylight hours, the more value you’ll be able to extract from your commercial solar setup.

In many cases for commercial rooftop systems the works fall under permitted development rights and do not require full planning permission. However, there are important exceptions: for example if the building is in a conservation area, is a listed building, or the installation would significantly alter the building’s appearance or impact neighbouring properties. We handle the survey and compliance checks, and will advise whether any formal planning submission is needed.

Commercial solar systems are relatively low maintenance, but good practice is still needed. For example: periodic cleaning, annual inspections, and monitoring of system performance. Warranties are included from the manufacturere and we are always available for maintenance support.
